SHIBOUI is an Amsterdam-based label shaped by a design mindset honed at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. We started the brand after noticing a gap between high-priced luxury and disposable fast fashion: there weren’t enough refined, durable accessories at fair prices. The Japanese concept shibui (渋い)—quiet, understated beauty that reveals depth over time—became our compass.

Today we create sunglasses and jewellery that balance minimal design, considered materials, and honest pricing. Every piece is crafted for longevity and everyday ease: clean lines, lasting finishes, and a comfortable fit—without unnecessary markups.
